Thank you so much, for setting aside some time today to visit our website! We're so glad that God led you to Titus 2 Ministry. I feel blessed to be able to share with you what the Lord has done in my life and some of my interests!

First and foremost, I accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior when I was 17. Christ is my beginning and end and everything in-between. He is my Creator and Sustainer. The Alpha and Omega of my days. I find great enjoyment and fulfillment in studying God's Word.

I met the young woman that became my wife when I was 24. I've been blessed to be happily married for 26 years. When you find the one the Lord created for you, and He blesses you to walk together in unity, it's truly one of God's greatest blessings in life. In Ecclesiastes 4:9 we read, "Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour." One thing I have learned is that Christ must be the center of a marriage. He is the tie that binds and holds us close through the sunshine and shadows of life. The Lord blessed our marriage with a precious little girl 22 years ago, who has now turned into a beautiful young woman. I thank the Lord for my family and all the blessings He has bestowed upon our home.

Something unique that I enjoy is playing the shofar. The shofar is the biblical trumpet/horn mentioned throughout Scripture. Perhaps the most familiar of references is at the Battle of Jericho. Also, the shofar will be blown when Christ returns. My family and I have been blessed to share the sounds and history of the shofar at various Christian congregations. As Christians, we are called to be watchmen on the wall sharing the message of Christ with the lost, being alert of the adversary's temptations, and mindful of Christ's soon coming return. "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand..." Joel 2:1 The Lord says in Ezekiel 3:17, "Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me." As a family, we also enjoy studying the storehouse of knowledge in Christ's Hebrew roots. There are great riches to be unearthed in His heritage.

I also enjoy a wide variety of music. My CD player sees a regular variety of Christian Bluegrass, Contemporary Christian and Messianic Jewish! My family and I have a lot of fun at music festivals such as those that are hosted by Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri.

I marvel at the beauty of God's creation. One of my favorite places to go is the Rocky Mountains, where my family and I have made many memories on hikes. I enjoy capturing those memories with my camera, as photography is one of my favorite hobbies. Standing on the top of a mountain and looking down on breathtaking sites below truly puts life into perspective and testifies of the hand of my Creator and Savior!

Around home, I enjoy sunset walks down our country roads. In the past, I spent my spare time quail hunting. Fishing in our lake that is stocked with bass, bluegill, and catfish is also something I find pleasure in. When I don't have time to fish, I throw in a few cupfuls of fish feed and watch the catfish gobble it up!

I like to keep up on the latest in technology, which is actually one of my jobs at Titus 2 Ministry. When I'm not updating our systems, I enjoy "hunting" for an antique treasure to be shared with our visitors on the website--be it a picture or book. I pray that you are blessed as you view our pages. Feel free to send us a note anytime. Whether you're from the US, the UK, or somewhere else in this world, it is a blessing to receive your letters!

May God Bless Your Home & Family!

Jim

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
